Analysis of final opening sequence

1) To make our opening sequence fit the genre of fantasy we edited the colour of the clips so that they glow making the forest backdrop seem more mystical.  The

2) The quality of filming we think is quite good as there is no real shaky shots and for our first time doing something like this we feel we did well, we used many different shots throughout the opening sequence making good use of the camera and tripod however we aren't happy with the sound quality in some of the shots as the wind muffled the camera.. The quality of editing we also think is good, it doesn't look like its been overloaded with different effects and transitions, it looks simple and we added effects where its needed, considering this is the first time we have done a project like this we're happy with both editing and filming.

3) For the music on our opening sequence we created a soundtrack on garage band, we based our music to fit the genre with it being quite child friendly but exciting at the same time.

4) Our genre was fantasy and mystical, we chose to film the opening sequence in the forest at the back of the school, with the effects we added on final cut the forest acts well with the genre. We dressed are voodoo with a stick to act as his weapon/staff which fits well with his character as he is very mysterious and people are unsure about him.

5) we feel the opening sequence is effective this is because we have used the many different techniques we were taught in the Media introduction including establishing shots, soundtrack, different editing choices on final cut pro and mis- en- scene, we feel we made a introduction that will attract the children audience using the different techniques. We made sure the film was suitable for children and we feel the would enjoy it.
